Most DofE candidates are engaged in or approaching important school exams. To minimise impact on study time and school work Trailshadow expedition programmes usually start in September allowing for training over the winter period and targeting spring for the practice expeditions and summer for qualifying expeditions. However, given the longer duration of the Gold expedition these groups will undertake their practice expedition before the exam period and complete their qualifying expedition following school exams. It may be possible to accommodate teams requiring a different annual pattern of training, please contact us to discuss your needs.
